Martha Hughes

Martha Hughes is an experienced mortgage and corporate training professional, currently serving as a Mortgage Loan Officer and Mortgage Loan Originator at Uwharrie Bank Mortgage since June 2016. With a career at Uwharrie Bank beginning in January 1999, Martha has held various roles including Corporate Training Coordinator, Mortgage Specialist, and Marketing Coordinator, providing administrative support in marketing and public relations, as well as coordinating events and projects within the community. Prior experience includes managing payment processing and record retention at RIHT Mortgage from July 1983 to August 1986. Martha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtained in 1983, and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1979.
