Marva H Williams MIB, BBA, currently serves as a Tutor in Events Management and Digital Brand Management at The University of the West Indies since April 2023. With extensive experience in the events industry, Marva held the position of Marketing Manager at Digicel Group from August 2022 to July 2024 and was a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University from January 2022 to July 2022, facilitating international learning experiences. Prior to this, Marva was the Festival and Events Manager at Discover Dominica Authority for over a decade, where significant achievements included increasing attendance at major festivals and managing large teams. Early career roles included accreditation coordination at the Dominica Cricket Association and administrative support at the Dominica Festival Committee. Marva holds a Master of Science in International Business from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Florida International University, complemented by a diploma in Graphic Design and an Associate degree in Business Management.
