Fabian Burns has a diverse background in various roles in different companies ranging from PR consultancy to event production and creative direction. Currently, Fabian holds the position of Projektleiter at Berlin 2070 gGmbH, while also serving as Geschäftsführer at DAI Verband Deutscher Architekten- und Ingenieurvereine e.V. and Award and Event Producer at UX Design Awards. Fabian's extensive experience includes leading projects, producing events and conferences, managing business operations, and creative direction in design festivals. Fabian also has experience as Geschäftsführer in the hospitality industry and a background in arts education from Universität der Künste Berlin.

The UX Design Awards are the global competition for excellent experiences. We present great experiences and accomplished solutions – across all fields and industries. The list of winners reads like a who is who of the industry. The UX Design Awards foster the impact experience design has on shaping our lives. The global competition is held twice per year by the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ), an independent design association with more than 50 years of experience. Our thorough approach – and the focus on a key design field – makes the UX Design Awards stand out among other design competitions. The awards are open for outstanding products, services, concepts and visions, as well as for bachelor's and master's projects worldwide. Solutions for all industries and application fields are accepted. The calls for participants are open from 🗓 March to May & 🗓 September to November each year.
