Clarisse Lecluyse has extensive experience in radiology, currently serving as Adjunct-kliniekhoofd Radiologie at UZ Gent since August 2011, where responsibilities include thoracic and abdominal imaging as well as abdominal and vascular ultrasound. Prior to this role, Clarisse held positions as a resident and ASO in radiology at both AZ Groeninge and UZ Gent from 2008 to 2011. Educational background includes a degree in Arts from Ghent University and ongoing studies towards a Master's in Oncologic Imaging at Università di Pisa, started in 2021, after completing secondary education at Lyceum Hemelsdaele Brugge.

Ghent University Hospital is one of the largest and most specialized health care providers in Flanders. It stands out for its optimum clinical patient care. Day or night, the UZ Gent guarantees a full-duty service for all kinds of specialized care. A medical intervention team with a doctor and a nurse from the emergency unit is put into action to offer assistance in life-threatening situations. As a university centre, the hospital offers a wide range of care: not only basic, but also highly specialized hospital care. Every medical specialty for normal and intensive care is represented.
