Hubert Vermeersch

Hubert Vermeersch has extensive experience in the medical field, serving as the Chairman of the Head, Neck & Maxillo-Facial Surgery Department at UZ Gent since 1975. In tandem, Hubert Vermeersch is a Professor-emeritus at Ghent University, where previously held the position of Chairman of the Head and Neck Surgery Department and has been a senior staff member since October 2016. Hubert Vermeersch's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ghent University, specialized training as a Nose Ear Throat Specialist, and a fellowship in Otology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota. Additionally, expertise as a Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon was acquired between 1988 and 1995.
