Iris Vandenbulcke

Iris Vandenbulcke is a dedicated healthcare professional currently serving as an Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) midwife and study midwife at UZ Gent's Centrum voor Reproductieve Geneeskunde since June 2022. Previous experiences include roles in first aid at Lokaal bestuur De Panne from August 2016 to June 2022, a brief position in the Health & Safety competence center at Colruyt Group, and providing additional assistance in maternity care at AZ Damiaan during the COVID-19 pandemic. Iris also completed an international internship in maternity and obstetrics at Androva Hospital in Madagascar while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in midwifery at VIVES University of Applied Sciences from September 2016 to June 2019, and is currently working towards a Master of Science in Health Promotion at Ghent University. Educational background includes a secondary education in Economics and Modern Languages from Immaculata De Panne.
