Katrien Vanderwee

Katrien Vanderwee is a skilled healthcare professional with extensive experience in infection control and academic roles. Currently serving as a Wetenschappelijk medewerker at UZ Gent since December 2022, Katrien previously worked as an Infection Control Nurse at O.L.V. van Lourdes Ziekenhuis Waregem from October 2011 to April 2022. Academic contributions began at Universiteit Gent, where Katrien held positions as a Docent and Doctor-assistent from February 2007 to September 2011, following a PhD candidacy at the same institution from August 2001 to December 2006.
