Peter Lietaer

Peter Lietaer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system engineering and IT infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Systeemingenieur at UZ Gent since March 2021, Peter has held various roles in reputable organizations such as Zorg en welzijn vzw, AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende AV, and AZ Delta, where responsibilities included overseeing ICT and infrastructure and managing IT operations. Peter’s career began at Hewlett-Packard from 2001 to 2004 as a system engineer, building a solid foundation in the field. Educational qualifications include a degree in Industrieel ingenieur electro mechanica from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven and earlier studies as kandidaat industrieel ingenieur at KIHWV.
