Yves vander Haeghen

Yves Vander Haeghen has extensive experience in the field of engineering and software development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Civil Servant at UZ Gent since September 2010. Prior to this role, Yves worked at UZ Gent as a Technical University Expert from January 2002 to September 2009, while also holding a position as Prof. Dr. Sc. at Ghent University during the same timeframe. Yves's academic journey includes contributions as a PhD student at Ghent University, focusing on the creation of a computer-controlled colorimetric camera for dermatology, and earlier research on modeling in PET scans and echocardiology software simulation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering from Ghent University and degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Physics from KU Leuven and Ghent University, respectively.
