Daphne Hompes

Daphne Hompes is the current director at UZ Leuven. Daphne has also worked as an MD at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, University Hospitals Gasthuisberg Leuven, and Twenteborgziekenhuis. Her focus has always been abdominal surgery, colorectal surgery, laparoscopy, and general abdominal surgery. Daphne has also done clinical research in colorectal cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis, and colorectal liver metastases.

Daphne Hompes has a MD from the Medical School at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and a PhD in Medicine. Daphne also has a degree in Latin-Mathematics-Chemistry-Physics from the High school at the Institute of the Sacred Heart in Heverlee (Leuven).
