Jan Lauwers

Jan Lauwers is a Clinical Engineer at UZ Leuven since September 2010, responsible for the engineering, design, and implementation of medical equipment and technologies within the university hospitals. Lauwers has been self-employed as an RF & Electronics Design Engineer since 2008, offering consulting services specializing in electronic system design, embedded systems, and medical systems. Educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from K.U. Leuven and a M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Design Engineer at Septentrio, Project Engineer at Alcatel ETCA, and Research Assistant at K.U.
