Myriam Welkenhuysen

Myriam Welkenhuysen has extensive experience in clinical trial coordination and quality assurance, currently serving as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at UZ Leuven since November 2005, with roles including Quality Assurance and Clinical Trial Associate in various fields such as pneumology and cardiology. Myriam has also contributed to academic research projects at the Leuven University Fertility Centre, emphasizing quality control and website content. Additionally, Myriam has been a board member at Radio Scorpio since January 2018, focusing on general management and event coordination, after a previous board membership from 2007 to 2010. Myriam's commitment to social issues is reflected in longstanding affiliations with the young socialists and the socialist party since the 1990s. Earlier career highlights include psychosocial research at the Center for Human Genetics and project leadership at Alpha Marketing Research. Myriam holds a Master of Science in Psychology from KU Leuven.
