Sam Denys

Sam Denys is a highly experienced professional in the field of audiology and biomedical sciences, currently serving as a plaatsvervangend docent (acting instructor) at KU Leuven since September 2014. With a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven, research interests include enhancing tablet-based self-test methodologies for hearing screening in children and addressing listening difficulties. Sam Denys has also held roles as a Clinical Audiologist at UZ Leuven, focusing on pediatric audiometry and multidisciplinary tinnitus care, and has managed various clinical studies related to otology and audiology. Previous experience includes internships as an audiologist and speech and language therapist, as well as roles in customer service at Pizza Hut. Education credentials span across multiple relevant degrees from KU Leuven, including a Master of Science and a postgraduate qualification in audiology and hearing aid fitting.
