Steven Cornelis

Steven Cornelis is an orthopedic surgery resident and research scholar at UZ Leuven since June 2021, with experience as a student surgical assistant for lung procurement and transplantation, and a summer internship in thoracic surgery. Additionally, Steven serves as a congress speaker for the Belgian Spine Society, focusing on research in orthopedic spine surgery. As an assistant in anatomical dissections at KU Leuven, Steven contributes to medical education while also being a member of VEJOS Belgium. Steven pursued a Master's degree in Medicine from KU Leuven, having previously completed a Bachelor's degree in the same field, and is currently pursuing further specialization in orthopedic surgery with a Master's degree in ASO Orthopedic Surgery.
