Yanina Jansen

Yanina Jansen is a highly skilled thoracic surgeon currently serving at UZ Leuven since March 2021, with roles including Fellow in Thoracic Surgery and Fellow in Lung Procurement and Transplantation. Yanina also gained valuable experience as an Observer at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust from April to August 2023, and previously worked as a Fellow in Thoracale Heelkunde at Zuyderland from September 2021 to August 2022. Prior to these positions, Yanina was a General Surgeon and Surgical Trainee at UZ Brussel from August 2012 to August 2021, and completed a PhD during this time. Yanina Jansen holds a specialized training degree in lung procurement and transplantation from KU Leuven, obtained in 2021, and has completed a sommelier program.
