Salih Rakici

Salih Rakici, PhD, is a Structural Engineer I at Uzun + Case, LLC, since June 2023. Prior to this role, Salih served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University from August 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included instructing undergraduate courses in engineering design, geotechnical analysis, and construction materials. Salih also gained practical experience through internships at SU-YAPI Engineering & Consulting Inc. and DOĞUŞ İNŞAAT VE TİCARET A.Ş. Salih earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from Wayne State University, in addition to a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University. Educational background includes attendance at Ankara Atatürk Lisesi and TED Ankara Koleji.
