Tom Schwarz

Tom Schwarz is an advisor at V-Bio Ventures and a co-founder of Life Sciences Partners (LSP). Tom has also served as the CEO of U-Gene Research.

Tom has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Tom co-founded LSP in 1998 and has helped it become one of the leading venture capital firms in Europe. In 2006, they left LSP to join V-Bio Ventures as an advisor.

Prior to LSP, Tom was the CEO of U-Gene Research, which they co-founded in 1987. Under their leadership, U-Gene grew from a small academic research group into one of the leading independent contract research companies in Europe. In 1997, they sold U-Gene Research to Kendle, a clinical research organization based in the United States.

Tom’s experience and success in the life sciences industry make him a valuable asset to V-Bio Ventures. Tom is passionate about helping startups succeed and is committed to helping V-Bio Ventures invest in the best and brightest companies in the life sciences sector.
