Jeremy Steventon Barnes serves as the Chief Technology & Information Officer at V.Group since September 2025, overseeing technology for a global ship management and marine support services company. Previously, Jeremy held the same position at EXA Infrastructure from 2022 to 2025, where responsibilities included transforming the company’s digital infrastructure from on-premise to a SaaS-based ecosystem. As Chair of Governors at Farlingaye High School from 2020 to 2023, leadership was provided for a non-selective academy with over 2000 students. Co-founding LightSpeed Broadband in 2020, Jeremy aimed to enhance access to Gigabit fibre broadband in underserved communities. Prior experience includes significant roles at Casa Systems, Suffolk County Council, BT Group, Tellabs, eServGlobal, and Level 3 Communications, with notable achievements in technology strategy, market entry, and sustainability initiatives. Jeremy holds an MBA with Distinction from London Business School, an MSc in Engineering from King's College London, and a BSc in Physics from Durham University.
