Manuel Hörl

Manuel A. Hernandez is an accomplished aerospace engineering student at the University of Central Florida, set to graduate in December 2023. As President of the Collegiate Space Foundation (CSF) from September 2021 to April 2023, Manuel A. Hernandez led a board of seven individuals in managing multiple projects focused on small satellite development while organizing technical workshops. As Project Co-Lead for the Knight Air Observation Satellite (KAOS), Manuel A. Hernandez contributed to the development of a 2U CubeSat. Additionally, in 2022, Manuel A. Hernandez played a significant role in the NASA Big Idea Competition team, proposing innovative rover solutions for lunar exploration. Previous experiences include an internship at Arconic focusing on metallurgical engineering and mentoring roles in the Office of Undergraduate Research.
