Adam Sloan

Principal FPGA Engineer at V-Nova Ltd.

Adam Sloan has over 13 years of work experience in diverse roles related to FPGA engineering, technical leadership, and teaching. Their most recent position was as a Principal FPGA Engineer at V-Nova Ltd., where they began in November 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Consultant (FPGA) at Omnitek from February 2017 to November 2018.

Before their work at Omnitek, Adam gained valuable experience at Cisco, where they held several positions. From January 2014 to February 2017, they served as a Technical Team Leader in Platform Architecture & FPGA Design. Prior to that, from April 2011 to January 2014, they worked as a Technical Leader in the same department. Starting in November 2007, Adam began their career at Cisco as a Software Engineer specializing in FPGA and embedded systems, and they held this position until April 2011.

Adam's career began in academia, where they served as a Lecturer at Monash University in 2006.

Adam Sloan completed their Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering (First Class Hons.) from Monash University from the years 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Engineering Science (Research) degree at Monash University from 2005 to 2007.
