Athena Wilson, SPHR (she, her)

Athena Wilson, SPHR, has extensive work experience in Human Resources and Benefits Management. Athena began their career in 1991 as a Research Analyst at Kaiser Permanente. In 1994, they advanced to Vice-President at MARCIT (now known as Midwest Public Risk). In 2008, they were a Consultant at Delta Dental of Missouri. From 2009 to 2014, they held the roles of Consultant and Senior Benefit Analyst at Hays Companies. In 2014, they moved to Adknowledge as a Senior HR Generalist and Senior Benefits Administrator. In 2017, they took on the role of Human Resources and Benefits Manager at V2 Ventures. Finally, in 2018, they were Human Resources and Benefits Manager at VuePlanner.

Athena Wilson, SPHR holds an MBA from the University of Central Missouri in Business and Marketing and a BS from Baker University in Accounting and Spanish. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. In 2015, they obtained a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI.
