Umberto Di Fabrizio

Umberto Di Fabrizio has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Umberto is currently working as an Engineering Manager at V7 since March 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded Focaccino - Good for people in January 2022. From December 2020 to March 2023, they served as the Head of Software Engineering, Backend at TUI Musement.

Before joining TUI Musement, Umberto held positions at BOOM imagestudio and ThousandEyes. At BOOM imagestudio from September 2019 to October 2020, they were the Head of Technology & Product, leading a team of mathematicians, physicists, designers, and engineers. Umberto focused on data engineering, internal decision support, and analytics tools. From October 2018 to September 2019, they served as the Head of AI at BOOM imagestudio.

Umberto Di Fabrizio has an extensive education history in the field of computer engineering and computer science. Umberto obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano from 2014 to 2017. During the same period, they pursued a second Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago. Umberto also attended Alta Scuola Politecnica from 2014 to 2016, where they participated in the Honors College program. In 2014, they attended the ATHENS program at Warsaw University of Technology, focusing on Computer Modelling for Electromagnetics.
