Clay Shaffer

Clay Shaffer, EIT, currently serves as an Engineer at V&A Consulting Engineers since February 2023. Previously, Clay held various leadership roles in the United States Marine Corps from June 2019 to February 2023, including Executive Officer of a Communications Company, overseeing operations for over 230 Marines, and Network Operations Center Manager for the 1st Marine Logistics Group, managing a team of 30 IT professionals. Clay has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency, as well as counseling and mentoring mid-management personnel. Clay’s experience also includes serving as Assistant Operations Officer and completing the Basic Officer Course. Earlier work experience includes managerial roles at Two Fellas Grill and technical support at BrightView Landscapes. Clay earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University.
