Sylvia Hysong

Sylvia Hysong is a tenured Research Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Health Services Research Section. Sylvia has also held positions at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Lead Research Health Scientist and at VA Quality Scholars as the Senior Scholar in Alumni Affairs. Additionally, Sylvia has served as the Director of the PhD Fellowship in Health Services Research at the Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness, and Safety. With a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Rice University, Sylvia has a strong background in research and academia.
