Lisa Ruiz

Lisa Ruiz, SPHR, currently serves as Vice President Human Resources at VAALCO Energy, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this role, Lisa held the position of Vice President Human Resources at MetroNational from May 2022 to April 2023, and served in multiple HR leadership roles at ION Geophysical from January 2016 to September 2022, including Senior Vice President Global Human Resources. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources at Global Geophysical Services and a senior HR role at WhiteFence, where Lisa established the company's first HR department. Earlier in their career, Lisa was HR Manager at RMI Physician Services and HR Coordinator at INSERVE Corporation. Lisa holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Management from Washington State University.
