Dimitris Folas Demiris

Dimitris Folas Demiris is a Data Scientist at VaasaETT since April 2023, contributing to the development of price forecasting and hydrogen production optimization tools using deep learning techniques and enhancing methodologies for consumer energy inflation prediction. Prior experience includes serving as a Junior Data Scientist, analyzing European energy market data with the Thessaloniki Data Team, and working as a Ski Instructor at Irbis Outdoor Activities since January 2018, where Dimitris designed lesson plans and organized outdoor trips for youth. A stint in the Greek Army involved weapons and combat training along with administrative support for military offices. Dimitris holds a Diploma with Integrated Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, complementing previous education with a High School Diploma from Anatolia College.
