Hans-Alexander Öst

Hans-Alexander Öst serves as the Business Unit Director for the electricity trade business unit at Vaasan Sähkö Oy since February 2019, where also held the title of Development Director, overseeing business and system development alongside IT. Additionally, Hans-Alexander holds various board positions, including Deputy Member of the Board of Directors at EPV Energia Oy and member of the Board of Directors at Comsel System Ltd and Technology Center Merinova Oy. Since February 2019, Hans-Alexander has contributed to the GigaVaasa team, focusing on energy and energy infrastructure. Prior experience includes a decade at Wärtsilä, where roles ranged from Manager of Business Development for energy storage solutions to Project Manager and Chief Project Engineer, coupled with a strong background in project control and engineering. Hans-Alexander holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and Industrial Economics from Åbo Akademi University.
