Namrata Sandhu

Namrata Sandhu is the CEO and co-founder of Vaayu, a sustainable fashion brand. Namrata is also the former head of sustainability and ethical trade at Zalando SE, one of Europe's largest online fashion retailers. At Zalando, Namrata was responsible for increasing the share of sustainable products on the site while setting ethical trade and sustainability standards for brand partners and the private label business. Prior to their work at Zalando, Namrata was the senior manager of sustainability and ethical trade at Arcadia Group Ltd, where they were responsible for delivering the company's policies and strategies on ethical trading, corporate responsibility, and sustainability across successful UK brands such as Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Topman, and Wallis. Namrata has also worked as an engagement manager for sustainability advisory services at AccountAbility and as a programme manager for inclusive business at the International Business Leaders Forum.

Namrata Sandhu has a Msc. in Environment & Sustainable Development from DPU at UCL, a Sustainability Executive Leadership Program from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics & Spanish from Denison University. Namrata also has a certification from THE INSTITUTE OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND ASSESSMENT (IEMA) in Associate Member.
