Vania Benavides

Vania Benavides has a long and varied work experience. Vania began their career in 1999 as a Research Intern at Schering Plough Research Institute, where they measured drug efficacy in quantitative assays and delivered a poster presentation on historical and empirical data. In 2003, they became a Sales Associate at Bath and Body Works, engaging shoppers by demonstrating the benefits of skin care products and arranging product in several branches throughout the bay area. In 2005, they became a Research Assistant at Genentech Inc., where they led a research study to determine the quality of cell lines using different culture methods and tools and collaborated with a team to schedule, grow, feed, and cryogenically preserve cell lines. In 2006, they became a Contract Assistant at Arvest Financial, where they communicated with clients to assess their finances and obtain all paperwork related to the transactions. Vania also served as a Notary Public for various mortgage loan signings. In 2008, they became a Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at the University of South Florida, where they coordinated an undergraduate program and planned events for graduate students. In 2009, they became a Social Media Campaign Manager at Greenlight Apparel, where they launched content marketing and link building campaigns and was in charge of community management and live documentation at events. Vania also became the Chief Executive Officer of Vabulous Digital Marketing, where they directed a team of internet marketing professionals to implement digital marketing solutions for small and medium sized businesses. Finally, in 2015, they became a Social Media Coordinator at Givkwik, Inc.

Vania Benavides began their educational journey by attending Dover Middle School. Vania then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of South Florida in 2004, followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the same institution.
