Jan van Hove

Jan Van Hove is a distinguished professional in the field of economics with extensive experience in both academia and the financial sector. Since September 2016, Jan has held multiple senior positions at KBC Bank & Verzekering, including Senior General Manager of KBC Insurance Belgium and Chief Economist for KBC Group. Jan is also a Management Committee Member at KBC Belgium. In addition to corporate roles, Jan has been a Professor of International Economics at KU Leuven since July 2008. Jan's leadership extends to several boards, including Chairman of the Board at VAB, KBC Autolease, KBC Group Re, and ADD NV since July 2021, and Honorary Chairman of INFER. Jan has served on the Supervisory Board of K&H Bank in Hungary and as a board member at Flanders Investment & Trade. Jan's academic credentials are bolstered by a PhD in Economics from KU Leuven.
