Sarah Power's work experience begins in 2004 when they worked as a Sales Assistant at Junction One. From 2007 to 2009, they served as an HR Assistant and HR Officer in the NHS. In 2009, they worked as a Learning Specialist at Project Morry, teaching fine arts at an underprivileged camp in New York State.

From 2009 to 2010, Sarah took on the role of HR, Business & Tourism Lecturer at Stephenson College. Sarah then joined the NHS again from 2010 to 2012, this time as a Human Resources Officer.

In 2013, Sarah worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Brett Martin Ltd until 2015. Sarah then became an HR Executive (Generalist) at Ulster Rugby, where they handled general HR tasks, learning and development projects, and employee relations until 2021.

In 2021, Sarah joined Positive Futures: Achieving Dreams. Transforming Lives. as the HR Workforce Planning Lead, focusing on projects such as benefits reviews, recruitment processes, and candidate attraction. Later in 2021, they moved to Hurree as an HR Manager.

Finally, in 2022, Sarah became the Head of People and Culture at Vable, an established scale-up company. Sarah'sresponsibilities include setting up the HR, People & Culture function, delivering the People roadmap, and ensuring a great work environment for all employees.

Sarah Power began their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree with a 2.1 honors classification in Business Management and Tourism from the University of Cumbria. Sarah then pursued further studies and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching with Distinction, specializing in Business, HR, and Tourism Lecturing at the University of Derby in 2010. Following this, they attended Queen's University Belfast from 2014 to 2017, acquiring a Master's degree in Human Resource Management.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah Power also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they received an Associate Affiliate designation from the Mediators Institute of Ireland (MII) through the Institute of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators. In the same year, they also achieved a CIPD Level 7 Masters in HRM from CIPD. In 2016, they completed Manual Handling Instructor Training from Cosensa Learning & Development Ltd, and in 2017, they acquired a First Aid at Work certification from St John Ambulance.
