Shaun Borges

Shaun Borges is an experienced hospitality and investment professional currently serving as the Corporate Director of Special Projects and Task Force at Vacatia since April 2025, while also co-founding Alcateia Investments in January 2023, which focuses on product creation and small businesses within the hospitality, wellness, and home services sectors. Previous roles include General Manager at Waterstone Resort & Marina, where extensive property upgrades were implemented, and a signature Japanese restaurant was launched, as well as General Manager at Showboat Hotel Atlantic City, overseeing the transformation of a casino into a family resort destination. Shaun's early career featured the role of Assistant General Manager at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, managing operations for a large resort and indoor waterpark while reimagining food and beverage concepts and coordinating large-scale events.
