Colby Hawkins

Colby Hawkins has extensive experience in music education, currently serving as the Director of Choirs for Vacaville Unified School District since September 2013. Prior roles include Fine Arts Assistant at Alpine School District, where support was provided to choir, band, theater, and orchestra teachers, and Student Teacher at Nebo School District, demonstrating strong leadership skills while managing large classrooms. Colby also gained valuable experience as a Music Dance Theater Assistant at Brigham Young University, where accompaniment and sight-reading for collegiate musical theater students were primary responsibilities. Colby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Teacher Education from Brigham Young University, completed in 2011, and is an alumnus of Will C. Wood High School.
