Nicola Crawford

Nicola Crawford has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Nicola is currently working as the Director of Analytical Sciences at Vaccitech since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Orchard Therapeutics from November 2020 to June 2022. Before joining Orchard Therapeutics, Nicola worked at Charles River as a Group Leader from January 2017 to November 2020. Nicola also has experience working at MedImmune as the Head of Preclinical Potency Sciences/Senior Scientist from August 2005 to January 2017. Nicola began their career at Fujisawa, where they worked from May 2001 to July 2005.

Nicola Crawford completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Neuropharmacology and Physiology at the University of Otago. Nicola then pursued a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology at The University of Edinburgh, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Later, they attended Nottingham Trent University and earned a Graduate Diploma in Law from 2016 to 2018.
