Zachary Coleman has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Technical Program Manager at Vadum Inc. Zachary joined the company in April 2023 and their tenure is ongoing. Prior to that, Zachary held the position of Recently Separated Naval Officer from December 2022 to April 2023, during which they transitioned from their role in the US Navy. In their time with the Navy, they served as a Shift Engineer/Instructor from January 2020 to November 2022, and as a Submarine Warfare Officer/Assistant Engineer from December 2016 to December 2019.
Zachary Coleman completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, from the years 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they attended Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC). The following year, in 2016, they attended Submarine Officer Basic School and Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston to further their education in Submarine Warfare.
In addition to their educational background, Zachary has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Quality Assurance Officer in the US Navy. More recently, in 2022, they obtained certifications in Agile Project Manager, Agile Scrum Professional, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Star 6 Sigma Global Academy. Furthermore, Zachary is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, with an expected completion in January 2023.
