Dr. Jan Nopper has a diverse and impressive work experience. Dr. Jan is currently serving as the President & CEO of VAG-Group since October 2020. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Linde Engineering from 2013 to 2020, including Chairman of the Board for Linde Engineering Hangzhou and Vice Chairman of the Board for Linde Eng. Dalian. Dr. Jan also served as the Vice President for Air Separation Plants and as the Managing Director / CEO for East Asia, where they had business responsibility for East Asia and South-East Asia.
Before joining Linde Engineering, Dr. Nopper worked as the Senior Project Manager for Corporate Strategy at The Linde Group from 2012 to 2013. Dr. Jan also gained valuable experience at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2005 to 2011, where they held the position of Project Leader and led strategic projects in the industrial goods industry.
Dr. Nopper's academic accomplishments include a Dissertation (Dr.-Ing.) from Fraunhofer Institute, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.

Dr. Jan Nopper has a Master's degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued a doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering at TU Dortmund University. In 2003, they briefly attended the Stiftung Bayerische EliteAkademie, and also spent a short time at Bucknell University the same year. In 2004, they attended Universidad de Zaragoza. In 2015, they completed an executive education program in Executive Management Education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
