Kirsten Gorrell has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Kirsten started their career at Keane as a Systems Consultant/Programmer, where they gained valuable IT experience by performing activities such as analysis, design, coding, implementation, maintenance, and user training for various systems. Kirsten then worked at General Electric as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, providing IT leadership for corporate human resource clients and coordinating technology services delivery. Kirsten later joined Oxford Health Plans as a Project Manager/IS Audit Coordinator, where they provided coordination of IS resources for finance, compliance, and quality management departments. Finally, they joined Vail Health, where they have held multiple roles, including Senior Quality Business Analyst and Cerner CCL Programmer Analyst. In these roles, they have partnered extensively with clinical staff and leaders, identified internal processes, provided data for quality improvement initiatives, supported Lean Healthcare programs, and created programs for data retrieval and validation.
Kirsten Gorrell attended Cuyahoga Community College from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained an Associates degree in Arts with a concentration in Psychology. From 1989 to 1993, they pursued their Bachelor's degree at Towson State University. Kirsten completed their Bachelor's in Computer Science, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Psychology.
