Chief Strategy Officer at Vail Health

Nico Brown has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2007, they worked at Howard Head Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapist and later became the Clinic Director. In 2012, they joined Vail Valley Medical Center as the Vice President of Operations for Howard Head Sports Medicine. In 2015, they also became a Board Member and Advancement Chair at the Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives (CAHE). In 2017, Nico returned to Vail Health as the Senior Vice President for their HHSM and Vail Health Total Joint Center. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President for HHSM and Vail Health Business Development. In 2021, Nico took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at NexGen Hyperbaric before joining Vail Health again as the Chief Strategy Officer later in the same year.

Nico Brown, PT, MPT, FACHE, pursued their education from various prestigious institutions. Nico began their academic journey in 1993 at Marist, where they studied an unspecified field. In 1997, they enrolled at Emory University and graduated in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Italian Studies. After a brief hiatus, they returned to their education, this time at Georgia State University. From 2003 to 2006, Nico undertook the Physical Therapy program and successfully completed their Masters in Physical Therapy. Through their educational pursuits, Nico has demonstrated their commitment to expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of physical therapy.
