Adi Merchant

Adi Merchant, MBA, is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Vice President of Talent Strategy and DEI at Vail Resorts since August 2019. Merchant has held several pivotal roles at Vail Resorts, including Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Senior Director of Human Resources. Prior to this, Merchant held various positions at Whirlpool Corporation, focusing on Learning and Development as well as Global and Regional HR Business Partnership. Merchant's early career includes significant contributions to Teach For America as a Leadership Development Manager and as a Department Head at Urban Prep Academies. An alum of the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, Merchant holds an MBA with a focus on Human Capital and Leadership, and a B.S. in Chemistry and Secondary Education from Purdue University.
