Clinton Smith

Clinton Smith, CISSP, is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience leading information security, compliance, and risk management across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Vail Resorts since June 2023, Clinton oversees cybersecurity risk and governance for a global ski resort operator, implementing rigorous compliance programs and enhancing cyber training initiatives. Previous roles include Vice President of Information Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure at WeLink, and Cybersecurity Executive Advisor and Vice President at Sunrun, where Clinton shaped the effectiveness of security controls and strategies. Additional experiences include leadership positions at KPMG, Vivint Solar, Grant Thornton LLP, Recycled Paper Greetings, and Hitachi Consulting, showcasing a broad expertise in IT risk management, governance, and technology solutions. Clinton holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
