Head of Research & Development at Football Association of Finland (SPL)

Ville-Pekka Inkilä is the current Head of Research & Development at the Football Association of Finland (SPL). Ville-Pekka has also worked as a researcher at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, where they investigated human behaviour and psychophysiology under various conditions. From January 2018 to May 2019, they were the Head of Data Science at Yliaisti Oy. Ville-Pekka has also worked as a Research Director at Kvantia, where they support the development of team sports through the opportunities provided by modern technology and advances in scientific research. In September 2013, they worked as a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at KTI Kiinteistötieto Oy for 3 weeks. Their responsibilities consisted of quantitative and qualitative data entry of customer satisfactory surveys. from June 2017 to September 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.

Ville-Pekka Inkilä has a Master of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of Helsinki, an MSc in Space Physiology & Health from King's College London, and a Bsc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Sunderland. Ville-Pekka also has a UEFA B coaching certification from the Finnish Football Association and is certified as an EFQM Assessor.
