Pietari Suvanto

Pietari Suvanto is the co-founder and chairman of Vainu.io. Pietari was previously the country director of Meltwater Group in Finland, where they were responsible for P&L and operations. Under their leadership, the company grew to 50 people and served more than 1,500 customers in Finland. Each month, they delivered 40-60% recurring revenue growth YoY.

Before joining Meltwater Group, Suvanto was the business controller for Music Export Finland, an organization that promoted Finnish music abroad. In this role, they were responsible for maximizing the amount of funding the organization received each year from sponsors, government subsidies, membership fees, and sales.

Suvanto also has experience in the sports industry, having served as the director of Tuusulan Palloseura, a football club in Tuusula, Finland, from 2003 to 2007.

Pietari Suvanto has a M.Sc from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and a master of science from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in Financial Strategy. Pietari also has an Executive Education from Stanford University in Business Administration and Management, General.
