Mehmet Bütün

Mehmet Bütün has worked in various roles throughout their career. Mehmet currently serves as a Technology Advisory Board Member at Bilişim Vadisi since February 2020. Prior to that, from November 2018, Bütün worked as the Chief Information & Digital Officer at Vakıf Katılım. From January 2016 to November 2018, they held the position of Vice President | Digital Services (IT) at Turkish Airlines. Before that, they worked at Teradata as a Senior Industry Lead (Telco&Media) from November 2012 to December 2015. Bütün also has extensive experience at Turkish Airlines, where they held multiple roles, including Head of Business Development & CRM from November 2011 to November 2012 and Manager, CRM & Loyalty Solutions (IT) from July 2010 to October 2011. Mehmet started their career at Turk Telekom in 2007 as an IT Project Manager / Senior B.A. and later worked at Turkcell as an IT Project Manager / B.A. from September 2001 to November 2006.

Mehmet Bütün obtained a BS in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Boğaziçi University between 1997 and 2002. Mehmet later pursued a Master's degree in International Banking and Finance at İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi, starting in 2023. Prior to their university education, Mehmet attended Ataköy Lisesi in 1996 and Sivas Fen Lisesi from 1994 to 1996. Mehmet also received a certification in Project Management Professional from PMI in 2009.
