Janne Juopperi

Janne Juopperi has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Janne is currently working as a QA Lead at VALA since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Elisa from September 2018 to May 2021 as a Software Test Lead, where they planned and led testing activities, worked closely with development teams, and ensured accurate test specifications.

From 2015 to 2018, Janne worked at Elisa Appelsiini, where they held roles as a Software Test Lead and Software Tester. In these roles, they were responsible for spearheading testing activities for multiple web-based services and mobile applications, employing exploratory testing methods and test automation tools. Janne'sgoals included validating software, providing bug and test reports, and creating maintainable test automation suites.

Before working at Elisa, Janne was a Test Specialist at HiQ Finland from 2011 to 2015. In this role, they worked on both waterfall and agile projects, creating and managing test cases, conducting system and integration testing, and developing test automation solutions using Robot Framework and Python.

Janne's career began as a Software Tester at Sijaishaltija Oy in 2010, where they worked until 2015. Janne also had a brief role as an Assisting System Analyst at the Research Institute for the Languages of Finland from June to December 2010.

Janne Juopperi completed a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree from Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, Janne obtained the ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from the Finnish Software Testing Board FiSTB in October 2011 and the Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester Extension from the same institution in May 2016. More recently, in April 2021, Janne became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance.
