Ekin Tiu

Ekin Tiu has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and AI research. In 2022, they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Valar Labs. In 2021, they were a Visiting AI Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where they worked with Dr. Pranav Rajpurkar on building reliable AI technologies for medical decision making. Ekin was also a Research Assistant at Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAIL) and a Data Science Intern at Trustworthy AI, which was acquired by Waymo in 2021. In 2020, they were a Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine and CTO & Co-Founder at myKeychain. In 2019, they were a Technical Writer at Towards Data Science, a Machine Learning Intern at Emerson Automation Solutions, and a Summer Research Intern at The University of Texas Medical Branch.

Ekin Tiu is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Stanford University, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024. Prior to this, they attended Carnegie Vanguard High School from 2016 to 2020.
