Luuk van Maasakkers

Luuk van Maasakkers has a diverse work experience. Luuk currently works as a Data Science Senior Specialist at Valcon since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were a PhD Student at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam from January 2019 to March 2023. Luuk'sresearch focused on using machine learning techniques to predict customer purchase behavior in large-scale product assortments. Before pursuing their PhD, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam from October 2015 to October 2018. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Crewlid at McDonald's from May 2014 to September 2016.

Luuk van Maasakkers completed their Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Operational Research from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2014 to 2017. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Econometrics and Management Science with a specialization in Business Analytics & Quantitative Marketing from the same university.
