Yusuf Boyd

Yusuf Boyd possesses extensive experience in the health and sports management sectors, currently serving as Head of Tactical at VALD since August 2019, with additional roles including Operations Director - Americas and Director of Health. Prior to joining VALD, Yusuf held various positions at the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Master Instructor from December 2011 to November 2022, and worked at Arthrex as an Orthopedic Sales Representative. Yusuf's career also includes roles at AlterG as Regional Account Manager, and ownership of BIOMechaniks. As Head Athletic Trainer for OrthoSouth and Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Memphis Grizzlies, Yusuf contributed to sports performance and rehabilitation. Yusuf's background is further complemented by military experience as a Petroleum Laboratory Specialist with the US Army. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Mississippi State University, and a certification in Medical & Spine Sales from Medical Sales College.
