Farrah Carrim is the Head of Legal for Global Base Metals Operations and Strategic Projects at Vale, where they provide strategic legal advice and manage legal services across multiple jurisdictions. With a background in corporate and commercial law, litigation, and regulatory affairs, Farrah has extensive experience in negotiating complex agreements and stakeholder participation arrangements. They have held leadership positions within Vale since 2017 and were previously recognized with the Tomorrow’s Leader Award at the 2016 Canadian General Counsel Awards. Farrah has a solid educational foundation, holding a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Additionally, Farrah is a member of the Board of Commissioners for PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.
