Gord Gilpin

Gord Gilpin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the mining and metals industry, currently serving as the Director of Ontario Operations for Vale since June 2005. Throughout this tenure, Gord has held several leadership roles, including Head of Mining Operations, Head of Processing Operations across Canada, the UK, and Asia, and Manager of Smelter Complex. Prior to Vale, Gord worked as an Electrical Engineer at Ionic Engineering and as a Software Developer at Whisperwire. Additionally, Gord served as a Senior Consultant at Trilogy. Gord holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
