Heather Sullivan Gauthier

Heather Sullivan Gauthier, P.Eng, has over 15 years of experience in the engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer and Relief Acid Plant Production Supervisor at Vale since June 2008. Previously, Heather held roles as a Research Analyst at Innovation and Opportunity Atlantic Canada, where significant contributions included leading a comprehensive scoping study and receiving an award for a detailed design study. As a Reservoir Engineering Co-op Student at Shell, Heather developed important simulation models that informed business decisions. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Behaviour and Business from Amberton University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. Heather has also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, co-authoring a published study on antimicrobial properties in paper materials.
